Every project starts with a free first meeting and a proposal with a fixed design fee. The ranges below are design fees; furniture and construction are always billed separately and at cost you can see.

Apartment design

New York apartments ask a lot of every square foot. Mimi plans the layout, storage, lighting and finishes together, so a one-bedroom works as hard as a house and still feels open.

For brownstones, townhouses and houses in the suburbs, Mimi designs the whole home as one story, so the kitchen, the bedrooms and the entry all belong to each other.

A small office or shop is a brand you can walk into. Mimi designs workspaces and retail interiors that are durable, easy to maintain and comfortable for the people who spend all day in them.

Right for: Small companies, studios, boutiques and restaurants up to about 8,000 sq ft.

Home staging

Before a sale or a photo shoot, Mimi edits what is there, brings in furniture and accessories from her inventory, and styles each room so buyers can picture themselves living in it.

Right for: Owners, agents and developers preparing a property for listing photos or a shoot.

$3,500 to $12,000 per property

Includes a 60-day furniture rental. Longer rentals are billed monthly.

For clients who want one person responsible from design to handover, Mimi manages the contractor, the schedule and the orders, and visits the site every week.

Right for: Clients renovating while they work full time, or living out of town during the work.

From $150 per hour

Billed hourly, or as a fixed monthly fee on larger projects.
