The brief
The owner was listing an empty studio. In photos the room looked either bare or too small, and buyers could not tell where a bed would fit.
The design
Mimi styled the studio in five days with rented pieces: a low bed against the brick column, a desk at the window, bar stools at the kitchen counter and a narrow shelf in the entry. Every piece was chosen to be smaller than it looks.
